Costs
There are some costs associated with item upgrades. The first is the cost to perform the upgrade. The amount of these materials required can be seen in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
Upgrades to an item are complicated and requires time. It can take up to 8 hours, depending on the magnitude of the upgrade. The base stats of the upgraded item are calculated based on the new ilvl as well as other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some instances, an upgrade can grant additional benefits. These perks are listed on a list.
In rare instances the upgrade will replace only the most expensive perks. Sometimes, the upgrader will make other modifications to an item, such as changing its weapon damage type or adding or removing an unwieldy or operative property. Success Rate

This item is useful in the event that you have an item or weapon equipment that has reached the maximum level for its tier, or is close to it. This item allows you to upgrade the equipment to the next tier without the risk of it breaking.
